I made this as a little gift for my boyfriend's family for Easter. It's so simple to make yourself... and who wouldn't want a jar full of homemade granola? Find any jar (I bought mine at the Container Store) and fill it with your favorite granola recipe. This one from Ina Garten is delicious. You can make a tag or buy one (I recommend making one - much more personal that way), and then tie it up with a pretty ribbon!
These photos of Olivia Palermo from the Marie Claire Spain April 2012 issue are especially stunning. She looks golden and natural, and her outfits are incredible. Also, that hair - color and style - is to die for.
Angel food cake reminds me of my childhood. It was my favorite growing up - especially after receiving the children's book, "The High Rise Glorious Skittle Skat Roarious Sky Pie Angel Food Cake". I remember making the cake with my mom... And she would make it often for birthdays and holidays. I haven't had it in years... time to bring it back! It's such a versatile dessert- try it with chocolate, peanut butter, ice cream, lemon or lime curd, berries... the list goes on.
For a perfect Easter dessert, try angel food cake, lemon curd, and raspberries!
Rub the lime around the edge of each glass and then dip the rim lightly in a plate of kosher salt. Set aside let to dry. Combine grapefruit juice, lime juice, triple sec, and ice in a blender. Puree until smooth. Pour into a large pitcher and stir in the tequila. Serve ice cold.
... this gorgeous, blooming cupcake tower! It's perfect for a wedding or wedding shower. By mixing up the colors and floral decor, this idea really can be used for any occasion. I will definitely try to re-create this someday.
I am in love! ... a 17-foot-long, late 1800s, L-shaped oak table that once held bolts of fabric in a textile factory in France. "We loved that table so much, we designed the kitchen around it," designer Rozanne Jackson says. For more details on this beautiful kitchen, visit Southern Accents.
I'm loving all the details of this intimate beach wedding. From the woven light fixtures, striped tent, bright pink blooms, linens... everything is just right. It's French Provincial meets Beachy Chic and I love it all!
I know Kate Moss' gypsy fairytale wedding is old news, but I will never stop being inspired by it. Kate said, “I wanted it to be kind of dreamy and 1920s, when everything is soft-focus... The Great Gatsby." And that's exactly what it was. Neutral colors, white roses, white linens, candlesticks, hair wreaths, and soft, flowy ivory dresses... all set in an English countryside.
