I had my talented photographer friend, Bryce Covey, come over to take a few photographs of a recent dinner party I threw with my mom at my parent's beautiful home.  We were celebrating my boyfriend's graduation with our two families - we kept the decor simple and natural so that the focus stayed on the food, drinks and, most importantly, the company.

Delicate Tuscan Inspired Wedding

I am head over heels in love with this wedding featured on Once Wed.  Rylee Hitchner married in her parent's backyard and created a delicate tuscan inspired wedding with the incredibly talented Joy Thigpen.  Most of the details were hand-made, which makes the event so beautiful and special.  The moss pots, hand-dipped candles, brick patio her dad laid, wooden tables her dad built, lace dress and shoes, organic flowers, lily of the valley bouquet... the entire event is simply stunning.

Lately

l'olivo branding

These are some images of part of a recent branding project I did for my design class.
L'olivo is a fictitious olive oil company based in the US that is opening a tasting room in Napa, California.  Their olive oil is from Italy, but they wanted their branding to reflect something cleaner and simpler than typical Italian olive oil bottles.  I calligraphed the logo to maintain olive oil's natural elegance and organic feel, but at the same time kept it fairly simplistic.  I also designed their packaging and other potential pieces of collateral that could be used in their tasting room.
