Angel Food Cake ::
Angel food cake reminds me of my childhood. It was my favorite growing up - especially after receiving the children's book, "The High Rise Glorious Skittle Skat Roarious Sky Pie Angel Food Cake". I remember making the cake with my mom... And she would make it often for birthdays and holidays. I haven't had it in years... time to bring it back! It's such a versatile dessert- try it with chocolate, peanut butter, ice cream, lemon or lime curd, berries... the list goes on.
For a perfect Easter dessert, try angel food cake, lemon curd, and raspberries!

Kitchen Design :: Old Meets New
I am in love! ... a 17-foot-long, late 1800s, L-shaped oak table that once held bolts of fabric in a textile factory in France. "We loved that table so much, we designed the kitchen around it," designer Rozanne Jackson says. For more details on this beautiful kitchen, visit Southern Accents.

Bahamas Wedding :: French meets Seaside
Inspired By :: Gypsy English Wedding
I know Kate Moss' gypsy fairytale wedding is old news, but I will never stop being inspired by it. Kate said, “I wanted it to be kind of dreamy and 1920s, when everything is soft-focus... The Great Gatsby." And that's exactly what it was. Neutral colors, white roses, white linens, candlesticks, hair wreaths, and soft, flowy ivory dresses... all set in an English countryside.

Iced Oatmeal Cookies ::
I made these iced oatmeal cookies last night and they were absolutely delicious. I didn't have shortening, so I used 1 cup of butter instead. I also left out the egg whites in the icing, and instead added a little bit more lemon juice and a splash of water. It turned out perfect, although next time I will add more icing to the cookies like pictured in the original recipe.
I will definitely make these again!

Blue and white is such a classic color combination. There are so many beautiful shades of blue - all of which go well with so many other colors. From fabric, to tile, to pottery, to linens, this color combo will never go out of style.
